Project Details

We are looking for an experienced ISP Network Engineer to migrate customer/network services from MikroTik infrastructure to Cisco ASR for an ISP network in Nepal.

The engineer should have strong practical experience in ISP routing, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, PPPoE, CGNAT and Cisco ASR configuration.

Scope of Work

  • Review existing MikroTik configuration

  • Analyze current customer/network services

  • Design Cisco ASR migration plan

  • Configure Cisco ASR

  • Migrate customer services with minimum downtime

  • Configure routing and required protocols

  • VLAN and IP addressing configuration

  • BGP/OSPF configuration as applicable

  • PPPoE/customer session migration if applicable

  • CGNAT configuration if required

  • Firewall and access policies

  • Traffic and bandwidth policies

  • Testing and troubleshooting

  • Performance verification after migration

  • Documentation of final Cisco ASR configuration
